Gamers Delight - 2007/04/29 00:50 Hey, first off..love the site. And forums..awsome..wish more stores did this lol.

I got the add for the Gamers Delight computer and I'm very tempted (and some of the upgrades are very nice).

Couple questions..I have a comp now..but never been that happy with its performance (I blame the computer guy we got it from and have taken it back to since). Can I sell it, or parts of it, to you guys? Or something like that.

Also..I have some various things I would want off my HD's like tv shows/music and some projects I have on that I dont feel like going through the trouble of getting again. Perhaps I could move the things I want onto 1 HD and that could be put into the comp as well? Not really sure..

Thanks!

Re:Gamers Delight - 2007/04/29 19:59 For all your old parts we can consign it for you as a system or we can part it out for you depending on which way will get you better value. As for the data transfer the way we look at it is that you are buying a new computer from us the least we can do is transfer your data over. Or we could just slave your hard drive in if you wanted the extra space. Site Admin

Re:Gamers Delight - 2007/04/29 20:37 Ah so you could just put in my old HD into the new comp? (though as perhaps the E drive instead of C) That would be much easier haha.

I'm not sure what would get me a better deal..right now i have..

Windows XP
AMD Sempron 2600+
1.6GHz
2GB ram (not sure of brand)
Radeon 9800 pro
DVD drive

Thanks for the reply!

Also, how long would it take to get the Gamers delight together?

Re:Gamers Delight - 2007/04/30 17:06 That is what I was meaning by slaving it in that would give you a secondary hard drive for what you have for parts I would suggest parting it out, not enough parts for a complete system and people are looking for those parts all the time. It takes 1 or 2 days for us to do the build and all the testing of the new computer. Site Admin

Re:Gamers Delight - 2007/04/30 17:55 Awsome

If possible, could you tell me what it would cost for the Gamers Delight with these upgrades (they are a bit cheaper aren't they when you get this comp?)

Athlong 64 X2 6000+
Geforce 8800GTX 768MB PCIX

Also, if possible, could you give an estimate on what i might be able to get from my computer?

This comp has 2 HD's right now.. one is 149 GB the other 74 GB.
Does it matter which one I would keep? Or is the 149 to big?

Re:Gamers Delight - 2007/04/30 18:17 I would keep the 149GB just because it is the larger drive. The price with those upgrades would be about 1960. But I would recommend one more upgrade. If you are doing the 8800GTX a bigger power supply would be in order like a 700w Thermaltake. The would add about another $200 but would give you some power to spare. Site Admin
